We have been in Des Moines IA with Curt, Berta’s Uncle, since Sunday eve.

Sunday morning, Paula was in charge of arranging lay persons for the service, and was having troubles doing so. I pointed out, though I had never been a “liturgist” in a Presbyterian service, I’d done 1000s of liturgies, and asked if there was something I could do. With the permission of her pastor, I have now been a Presbyterian liturgist.

After church and lunch, we drove to Des Moines, and have been with Curt since. He’s a good guy, and doing well. I hope I am doing as well when I am 89.

Tomorrow we start making our way toward Kansas City to see Sally.

Sally, we are running about a week ahead. We could get there early, stay longer, sightsee a lot, or do any of those combinations. Please let us know what is best for you.
