Moose In Anchorage
A one-antlered moose rests at Castle Heights Park off Wesleyan Drive in East Anchorage on Nov. 25. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game estimates that the winter moose population from Eagle River to South Anchorage has grown over the past decade to about 1,000.
