Okay, looks like we’re back up and running. I need to redesign the site — either put the old design back, or (more likely) come up with something new (the über-brown scheme I was using needs a change, I think).

But the most important thing is that there’s actually something here. The sudden disappearance was my own fault, but mistakes happen, and total downtime was less than a week. Older posts and the photo gallery will be coming along before too much longer.

Authors: currently, Dad and I are the only authors for this weblog. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with that, when I originally conceived of this site, I hoped to have members of the Hanscom family from all over be able to contribute whenever they felt like it. That offer, of course, is still very much open!

So — mom, Kevin, Emily, Susan, Eric, Doug, Pam, Katie, Hannah (or any other members of the extended family, for that matter) — should any of you want to be able to add posts to this page (for any reason you like — updating the rest of the family on things that are going on, adding photos, or anything of the sort), feel free to either leave a comment here or e-mail me and I’ll get you all set up.
